Each team member may nominate one charity every twelve months. If a charity is not selected, its nomination automatically rolls into consideration for the following three calendar quarters.

Grants are only given to 501c3 organizations in good standing; funds may not be used for lobbying, political, or religious activities.

OUR 2024 PIF WINNERS:

Girls in the Game

Girls in the Game strives to build girls' confidence and strength through sports-based youth development. Engaging in their after school programs, summer camps, clinics, and even teen programs exposes young girls to learning opportunities about health and leadership while playing various sports in a friendly environment. Girls in the Game partners with schools, parks and community centers all over Chicago to help reach their mission of empowering girls. Chicago Union Cares loved guest coaching at their summer camp!!

The Bloc

The Bloc, an incredible non-profit organization that helps underprivileged children learn boxing skills and gives them a place to be themselves.  Located on Chicago’s West Side, The Bloc gives back in a big way to youth and the community. Their core programming is an after-school program for students ages 8 to 18 centered around boxing, homework, and enrichment electives. One of their electives is ultimate frisbee, and Chicago Union Cares loves running those sessions.
